About electronics.tools

electronics.tools is a free, English-language collection of electronics design calculators and short learning notes. The pages are static files. The site does not collect data, set cookies, or ask anyone to create an account.

What you will find

Each published tool shows the formula it uses, the parameters behind the numbers, a worked example, the usual mistakes, and a small calculator that runs in the browser. The same formulas live in an open TypeScript library so the on-page numbers and the unit tests stay aligned.

The Learn section holds longer notes on resistor standards, divider math, LED current, and similar topics. The Parts section summarizes how to pick common component families and lists a few widely used MPNs for orientation.

What this site is not

This is a design-calculator and learning site. It does not sell parts, take orders, or store personal information. There are no forms. Component sourcing support is planned.

Editorial approach

Facts on part tables come from public datasheets and commodity knowledge. When a parameter is not verified for a row, we leave it out rather than guess. If you spot an error, open an issue in the project repository once it is public.

Language and hosting

Public copy is English only. The URL helper can add a locale prefix later; no other language is shipped today. The site is built as static files for Cloudflare Pages.
